For customers wishing to hire a 6 tonne (5660 kg) category excavator we offer the Takeuchi TB260. This is the first ever 6-tonne excavator from Takeuchi and is a powerful addition for this in-demand weight class.

The TB260’s high power and torque rating are due to its proven, high performance hydraulic system. This ensures greater oil flow for faster cycle times and increased efficiency.

With a track footprint of just 2000 x 2575 mm and a rear end radius of 1300 mm, the TB260 provides maximum accessibility on restricted sites.

  • Two-speed tracking is complemented by auto step down when dozing.
  • Cylinder drift is minimised by boom and arm holding valves that help to maintain load control in the event of a hose failure.
  • The internal lift alarm provides an audible warning when the boom is reaching hydraulic lifting capacity.
  • Engine lifetime is prolonged by the automatic idle function, reducing fuel consumption and engine noise.
  • The auxiliary detent switch reduces operator fatigue when using continuously operating attachments. Dual proportional control is included as standard.
